The Line Test API is a diagnostics tool which provides insights into services the client owns. This API provides real-time diagnostic capability that can be integrated with your internal applications and will return as much data as it can, however if a service is misconfigured, the Line Test API may not be able to return any information about the service.
The Line Test API provides access to the fibre test suite via a REST interface. This allows information to be gathered about the current ONT status and service information relating to the provided Service ID.
The Line Test API returns service information for BS2a data and voice services.
Important to note: This API uses a field called 'Product ID' when requesting and retrieving data. The use of the name Product ID is to maintain alignment with the Chorus APIs.
The value used in this field for the Enable Line Test API is the Enable 'Service ID'.
When sending requests to end points in this API endpoints that require a Product ID field to be populated, supply the relevant Service ID, and when processing results returned by this API, map the values in for the Product ID field to the Enable Service ID.
